It’s pretty amazing to see what these home owners have accomplished in the 6 weeks since buying their fixer upper.
This cute little house was constructed right around the turn of the 19th century and had at least one addition built on, a low-ceilinged kitchen. The home had been a rental property for years when Laura and Mike bought it.
The day they closed on the house, the kitchen was demolished. The rebuild came together quickly and now Laura and Mike have a cheerful, airy space that blends with the rest of the house.
Their decorating style incorporates found, thrifted and vintage pieces, many of them customized by Laura. Even though they have lived there for a short time, the timeless, personal spaces make them feel right at home.
