Season 1, Episode 11: Luxury + History in Covington, KY

A former “gentleman’s club”  has been turned into stunning condos above street-level retail.

The Bradford on Scott was built in the 1870’s as a public dance hall, with offices and residences above. Since the late 1990’s, the building had fallen into disrepair. The most recent street-level tenant was a “gentleman’s club,” called Viva La Foxx. When the Catalytic Fund gained site control, there were still old bags of chips hanging above the bar and gogo boots in the dressing room.
Orleans Development renovated the entire property, creating five condos, each with different layouts and either terraces or roof decks. The unit in our episode is owned by an empty nest couple who moved to Covington from the suburbs.
Their upscale urban home is decorated with a creative mix of traditional, vintage and modern styles. Keep an eye out for all the beautiful tiles they incorporated into the decor.
