Charmingly blended decor

Built in 1910, this house was remodeled about 15 years ago. They kept the beautiful woodwork, pocket doors and unusual kitchen floor, as well as the serene moments of symmetry. They added large windows and a three-level deck to maximize the views of Newport and Cincinnati. Upstairs, three small bedrooms were turned into one generous, light-filled room with a bathroom and balcony. The décor is an attractive mix of modern and mid-century inspired furniture with antler chandeliers, plants and art. On the deck, the city sounds blend with birdsong, making the home feel both remote and connected at the same time.
