With soothing colors and lots of comfy places to gather, this 1880’s “Shotgun Victorian” home is a relaxing getaway. The center room on the first floor was intended to be a dining room, but it is more useful to the homeowners as a family room. The kitchen is a homey space with cabinets painted vintage red, creamy beadboard and green textured wallpaper. A freestanding island provides seating and workspace. In the 1970’s, a small addition was added to the house with a full bath and laundry room. The backdoor leads to a lovely side yard, covered backyard seating area and double garage. The second and third floors, which may not be open during the tour, have the three bedrooms and an additional bathroom.
