Tour stop 13: 302 W. Robbins St.

Minimalist marries maximalist:

A pair of pink flamingos welcomes you to this 1880’s home, renovated by the Center for Great Neighborhoods. The couple who owns it has blended their individual design sensibilities to create a welcoming, personalized space. A shell of black and white forms the background for contemporary art (much of it by the husband), seasonal décor, books and memorabilia. The home is a colorful representation of their life together.
